Where taxpayers' money is spent
Total public spending is expected to be around £456 billion this year, around £7,700 for every man, woman and child in the UK. It is set to rise to £485 billion in 2004-05 and to £517 billion in 2005-06. Where Taxpayers' money is spentTotal managed expenditure - £456 billion
